This fresh sausage casing is a natural animal casing that has been cleaned and is packed in a salt cake. The salt will keep the casing preserved for a number of months before they need to be used. These casings are top quality, locally processed casings and have a low to nill fragrance.
Bungs are fresh casings that have been cut into individual lengths and tied or moulded (like a sock shape) at one end.
Our fresh bungs are available in sheep, hog, beef and ox
These are ideal for salami making and cured meats production.
Before use, simply clean thoroughly under cool constant running water.
