All our ham / prosciutto carving stands are handmade from quality food grade materials. Our prosciutto knife and serving tongs come from Italian knife manufactures, Sanelli, and have been produced specifically for slicing prosciutto , ham and salami.

Using the carving stand is simple - the leg of prosciutto / ham sits in the shoe where it is supported by a metal prong. The heart of the prosciutto/ ham is held tightly in position by an adjustable stainless steel clamp.

This particular model is ideal for those slicing prosciutto without the leg bone. The meaty part of the thigh is held securely in the upright clamp. It consists of a strong solid natural wooden base, with wooden stand and an adjustable metal leg clamp and shoe. The wooden base is sealed and varnished so that it can be wiped clean easily and no oils, etc. from your meat can be absorbed into the wood.
